Integrated Travel Demand Model System
Activity-based models are always embedded within an integrated model system in which there is an interaction between the activity-based which predict the demand for travel, and network models, which predict how this demand affects the performance of the transportation network supply.

The more detailed model systme which is used in SydneyGMA is as follows:
We extracted the population synthesis model and run it separately. Then the household and person characteristics is loaded as inputs.
Time periods:
In SydneyGMA model there are five time periods in a day which are as follows:
AM - 6:00 to 9:00
Mid Day - 9:00 to 15:00
PM - 15:00 to 19:00
Evening - 19:00 to 24:00
Overnight - 00:00 to 6:00
