I view teaching as an integral part as the most rewarding experience of an academic career, which provides a link to transfer knowledge between generations in a systematic form. It is at the university where students learn how to think rationally, to learn the scientific tools and their applications in the real world, and to define their interests in their future careers.  In my undergraduate teaching (2nd year) I aim to inspire students in the areas of transport engineering helping them to see the potential and excitement of a career as a transport engineer. In my fourth-year courses and postgraduate teaching, I teach my students i) what they need as they enter the industry and ii) the theoretical and fundamental concepts that they need if they decide to continue their education.
